PURPOSE of THEIA
The purpose of this association
will be to work with, support and
help improve the Texas Parks and
Wildlife Hunter Education
Program.
To this end one of our primary
programs is the annual Texas
Youth Hunter Education
Challenge. The competition is
open to teams and individuals.
THEIA then sponsors the top
participants to compete at the
NRA National YHEC.
The Annual Hunter Education
Instructors Conference and
Banquet is open to all volunteer
instructors not just THEIA
members.
Our organization raises the funds
to do this, contribute to a
scholarship program and provide the
lunch for volunteers involved in the
shooting sports at EXPO by the
Annual Hunter Education
Instructors Conference and Awards
Banquet.
